Around The World in 40 Strains

Oh, duh! I forget @TransplantedFarmgirl likes playing mad scientist

dust, random hair, diatomaceous earth, and nutes can still get on the buds. None of that stuff tastes good burning, and washing does help stuff that might be inside the bud not just on the surface. Its a smoother smoke.

One of my plants has peeked over the soil…I was a little worried about why I only had one…
And why my pods look like something dug the middles out…

F@(% mice ate my beans!!!

One Granddaddy Hofmann by Psillyrabbit is all that is left :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
Will have to plan total annihilation right after I get some more beans in pods. The GH bean sprout is lucky…those were the only two I had left. I hope it makes it and is female.
grrrrrrrr…

When you cure your harvest, the terpenes will develop a little more, lose the hay and grass smell…if that’s what you mean. A lot of us use Grove Bags for that purpose. Proper drying includes about a week of 60F temp and 60% relative humidity and then they can be trimmed and placed into grove bags for curing. I have used this method for a couple years now and always have enjoyable harvests.

Chop chop says the clock: Chocolate Cake met the shears today.

Found a few aphids on the lower buds too…I had already hit the plants with CJDB but must have missed that part. So kept just the main cola. I just dont feel the foxtails and popcorn were gonna be worth the extra wash and work. May have been a gram worth dry… A battle not meant to be fought this time. But made me go through the remaining matrons and ensure the London Calling class is sprayed and protected.
Next into the dark room is Peach Cres x Temple Kush. Almost 20% amber before the four days in the hole. Should be ready to chop Wednesday. Same day I get to trim Castanova.
Winding up to be a busy growing season.

Aaaaargh no.
God damn critters.
I was asleep one time and woke up half asleep and felt something at my mouth :exploding_head:
Pitch black in my bedroom, swiped at my mouth and then heard thud against wall and scurrying across floor.
It must have been feeding on my dribble
I hate going to sleep now.

that would make me get all the lights on, grab a hammer, and start finding the offender.

I dont have weapons in my house for my own reasons, but shooting holes trying to kill a mouse in the wall is probably in the top 5

Was the chocolate cake a clone? I only ask because from seed shouldn’t it more flowers, im kinds still learning so wondering why it looks spindly

Most of my grows are in either solo cup sized vessels or intentionally manipulated to keep them small. There are a few plants I have that are in larger pots to get more for replenishing stock, developing a new strain, or making clones. The chocolate cake is from seed.

also, all of the fan leaves have been removed. I got through three big defoliations during the grow cycles now

I do all of the process you described, a week of 60/60 or as close as I can, then grove bags and boveda 60% packs. I even use Botanicare sweet berry in the last week or 2 of water. Still smells like
“homegrown”

Why would you need boveda 60% pack with grove bags? Or am i reading this wrong

you shouldnt need the boveda with grove bags. I never use em.
Also, still not sure what you mean by smelling homegrown?

Hey maybe referring to tbe fresh cut grass or hay smeell plants can hace aft a r cutting down before veing cured but as it cures that goes away its the chlorophyll leaving the plant i believe its normal and disapates with curing, and I agree with @TransplantedFarmgirl with grove bags you dont need boveda and no butping grove bags take care of all that on its own ,though i do throw a small rh meter in each grove bag as long it doesnt get over62%rh is fine and if it does simply ope bag for bout an hour and reseal

Yes ur right on smell. Mine just doesnt seem to be going away. I do have a rh meter and it is 62%.
