10 week auto white widow, milky white with amber. Are we ready for harvest.? First time so rather anxious about waiting too long. Plus I’m desperate for space!
When you say this what are you referring to? Do you mean the pistols on the flowers or are you using a loop or scope to magnify your trichs? I see a whole lot of white pistols in your pics and this make me feel like you e got weeks to go still. Plants look really good though. They’ll be nice soon.
I’m using a magnifying loupe, but you can see with the naked eye to some degree. So , I need to wait until lots more amber visible? I have read so much conflicting data, but they all say do not let it over ripen. Nervous Nellie here, as you can see. Thank you for your reply.
@Cgm From everything I’ve learned in here the rule of thumb is to wait until all of your pistols have turned orange and then start to recede back into the bud before worrying about your trichs. With that many white pistols still the bud is probably still pretty immature and would be an unenjoyable anxious type racey buzz. Imho just keep wat hung for a few more weeks at least. But this dialogue will get some others to chime in and then you can get a feel from some different opinions ok. Good luck, hope you stay around!!
From what I can see, and without a close up of the trichs, I’d say you have a week or so more to go. Maybe even more. I see lots of white pistils which shows new bud growth. Are you still feeding nutes?
Thank you. I see what you are saying. Ok, sit back, relax, no delivery yet, lol
I just stopped feeding in expectation of harvest within 2 weeks. But then was concerned it was already time. I have been much more anxious with this process than I expected. I always worried about snd checking in on them. Now I’m so worried I will screw up at the end🥺
@Cgm they call it ‘early harvest syndrome’ in here. We’re all inpatient lol. Easier to grow weed once you have a stash stowed and available and your confidence has grown from some successful harvests. We’re all in the same boat lol!! Enjoy your journey, your doing great seriously!!
Thank you for your kind words. I’m hanging in🤗
Hey brother we all get it here I’m sure. I’m on my second grow indoors and it still is a stress sometimes. Your plant looks great and is developing really well. Depending on genetics some plants can take 14 weeks from start of flower to be ready. I very much agree with what everyone else is saying here, until those pistils aren’t so white I’d wait and smoke up to calm the nerves. You are doing great from what I can see!
@Cgm A lot of us feel like helicopter parents lol, just hovering over every detail like a nervous nelly. You got this.
Yup, a long ways to go. At least 3 weeks I estimate. They’ll plump up a lot more.
@Fieldofdreams you are not lying haha! Its hard not to worry about your girls after so much work, but patience truly pays off!
Good idea my friend! I’ll go for a ride on my horse, see if that settles me. Thank you for your show of support.
Ha ha I like the analogy. It is stressful. Thanks for uplifting me.
Oh wow, they get bigger!!! Running outa room in my tent!!!
I’m on the daily watch myself with these GSC Autos. Popped on 2/27 and apparently plan on living forever lol. No amber trichs except on the sugar leaves. Gotta be soon though.
Beautiful! I see what you are saying. Thanks for the pic, that helps!
Wow those are long life autos! Gorgeous flowers! I’m almost to week 3 of flower and I tell ya my plant may yield some serious stuff. A little stretching but she has so many bud sites!
A golden goose should be eaten (smoked) a small piece at a time.
The gift that keeps on giving.
Space favors the strong or the upcomming.
I need smoke so, somebody has to put out, daily, till we win the battle.
