I’ve read extensively about identifying trichomes for harvest, but I wanted you all’s expert opinions on if it’s time to harvest my two white widows! I’m 10 weeks into flower, and I think cold weather has slowed things down quite a bit. Looks like even colder weather is coming in a week, so I’m wondering if it’s go time. They stay inside my garage at night, so they don’t get as cold as true outdoor plants. Here’s some pictures of their current state.

They still look pretty clear to me, in the first two pictures anyway.
Judging from what I’m able to see, I would personally wait another week or so and then start keeping a closer eye on them.
It’s really down to personal preference, though.
You don’t HAVE to wait for more ambers to appear, it just gives a little heavier of a high.
Some advice I was given long ago, that I still remember and abide by to this day:
“If you think you’re ready to harvest, give it another week (but monitor them closely)”
You’d be surprised the difference a few days could make in the end.
IMO, anyway.
They look good. Congrats on your first grow, too.
Thank you! I’ll let them ride a little while longer then and check on things often.
Yeah I’ve been using that chart, just some first time uncertainty
Stop feeding nutes now if you havent already strait water from hereout…make the plant consume what it has in its food banks “leaves and stems and harsh smoke” begin flush id say
Yeah I’ve been flushing for about a week now. I’m going to continue on and keep a close eye on changes
Update: They have clouded up quite a bit in a few days. I’m thinking harvest this weekend unless someone sees it different?!
Nope lil more times
Dont rush her u will be rewarded
If your flushing and leaves are still green u definatley need another week
Good sighn is leaf color fadijg and yellowing
Patience is hard! I think the cold weather has me a little jumpy too, 36 degrees here today.
36 degreese at canopynunder lights?
Just outside. In the garage under the lights it’s usually 10-15 degrees warmer
So about 45 50 should be ok as long as ur not getting snow on it
You should begin flushing about a week before harvest. Once the buds look like they’re ripe and ready for picking.
Flushing too early mostly just causes the plant to stunt it’s growth, so there’s really not TOO much sense in waiting another week if you’ve already begun flushing.
IMO, anyway.
I haven’t been on this site for very long, but this is the first thread I’ve seen that gives a ton of conflicting advice. I’m sorry it’s getting so confusing for you lol
No worries, I appreciate any help or advice I can get. I’m on my maiden voyage here, so looking to learn as much as possible. I starting flushing about two weeks ago because I thought I was close, but it makes sense what you’re saying about waiting until just a week before. Next season I’ll hopefully be able to spot the right time better. I’m gonna post some pictures I took this morning, I think they’re ready. Let me know what you guys think please!
Ur close but are u looking at leaves or calyxs u need to go by calyx trics sugar leaves ripen up quicker
