I have seen a few trichomes turning amber just not on this bud.
Are these considered milky?
And why does one site say wait til it’s 70% amber and others say that’s way too late?
Thanks again for the help everyone.
Those crystal looking things is what you want to start turning amber before your ready for harvest. How much of it turns amber before you harvest is completely up to you. Just be aware that it will produce different types of smoke depending on how many of those trichomes turn amber. Some say 70% is the sweet spot as the bud will be more potent but like i said its all up to you and depends on what you prefer. (Not a pro so id seek other opinions too)
Looks about 1/2 cloudy 1/2 clear. 70% amber is too much IMHO. Amber is thc that has degraded and converted to cbn. It comes down to personal preference. I aim for 10% amber
I harvest when they are milky. But nobody is right or wrong on this. Preference.
10-20% amber is the going rate usually
I agree with really everbody that commented on this topic. In the end really up to the individual.
I just watched a youtube on when to harvest this guy says when your seed pods start growing out not neccesarily when your pistols are amber.
