I’m using a Cow Pot with my first seedling and I was wondering if this is a good idea. I read on another post that you should loosen the root ball when transplanting from your starter pot to the 5 gal pot. Well, with the Cow Pot the roots are growing through it so I can’t remove the plant from the pot. Has anyone else tried these pots before? Is ok that I can’t loosen the root ball?
If the whole thing is planted I don’t see what it’d hurt

Never used them but I’ve used other pots just like it. When I used them I just planted the whole thing, don’t worry about loosening your roots, you’ll be fine.
