So I got a ph, Ppm meter and a soil meter from Amazon I didn’t need the soil meter but when it got here I was looking it over and it tells you when to water any body know how to put it in without killing my plants? Does anybody see a good spot only gonna be used for the 5 gallon pot
Just jam it in there furthest away from her along an edge. She’ll recover easily.
As time goes on it’s a good practice to check The weight of the pots by lifting Before & After watering will be a big help to know when you need to water. Happy growing !
I’ll do that Iv never thought of that
It’s too early now because you’re not going to be watering that much with small plants.
Yeah true. Do you think 7-7.5 is to high of a ph to water my plants?
Yes. Dial it down to 6.5
How do I do that
With PH down or lemon juice… Small increments!!!
Don’t trust the probe as far as reading PH They are not very dependable. 6.5 Being the sweet spot for PH
Ohhh I’m definitely gonna be using lemon juice then
Remember, SMALL increments!!!
Okay I’ll pick some up and hope it works
Lemon juice from concentrate.
I work for a grow supply store. That is what we sell.
Okay I’ll order some when I get paid
A pinch of citric acid will lower pH. It is around $4 in the backing aisle. It will last forever.
Best plan of action because, every plant drinks differently.
