Any tips on starting?

A question from a fellow grower:

I guess I don’t have a “Gold Thumb”. The first 2 seeds I started , sprouted, grew to about 6 inches, about the diameter of a pencil lead, and I propped them with small sticks and then they just died.

The second 2, I started in a peat ball and they didn’t even sprout.

Got any ideas?

It sounds like the 1st 2 sprouts were stretching for l;ight.

The next 2; It is hard to say. Peat pellets usually are a great way to start seeds, as long as you follow directions. :slight_smile:
