Any other Formula 1 fans?

Where in the world are you watching from? Who’s planning a Monaco watch party? Anyone actually attending? It’s not what it was in the 80s and early 90s but I still love watching.

Back in the day when I had consistent cable or sat I’d keep up with the season.
Since we moved out here I see a couple of races a season. Whatever ABC while show me
No nascar

I was a big fan in the late '90’s early 2000’s. Don’t keep up much anymore because of how the broadcasting companies want to squeeze every penny out their customers.
I have been to two races at COTA in Austin TX. It’s a pretty crazy event. There’s soooo much money walking around it’s crazy. The cars are extremely loud or were the two times I saw them. First race was the old V10 motors and the second was the V8’s. It’s a fun time but you do a ton of walking, if not you really don’t get to see much sitting in your seat.
I still watch when I can. For any fans if you have Netflix Drive to Survive is an excellent series that gives a bit of an inside look at how it all happens and what the teams are up against during a race season.

He did a few steep banks and pulled a few Gs. Nothing serious. It was truly a life remembering experience

I got a ride on an F/A-18D from Lemoore to San Diego back in 1995. It was a blast.

I saw them (F1) in Montreal 1990 thru 1998 then a couple times at Indy until the year all the Michelin guys boycotted the race. I had never heard anything like those V10 cars. Great memories. The whole city revolves around F1 all weekend long. I got to meet Senna when he was driving for mclaren.

Going this weekend? I saw the Indy guys at mid Ohio last summer. Great series, wish more manufacturers would enter.

I sold my tickets this year. I’m getting older and growing weary of the time it takes to get out of the place at the end of the race. 500,000 people go to the race every year and there’s really only 1 four lane main road out. It can take 4 hours to clear the traffic after the race.

When i worked EMS, i worked the drag strips and dirt tracks, and then when Nascar fired up, i always worked on the medical crews at the track. I did it a few years, then started working contracts for the harley testing track…
