It’s easy for mites to catch a ride inside. And it doesn’t take long for them to multiply and get out of control. Watch out for tiny webs, that’s where I found larvae and eggs. Best of luck with the fight.

They are definitely mites, you might want to thin some of them fan leaves that are infested, gently in a bag, burn the bag if possible. Spray at least every 3 days. 
. They don’t like to die. Also you might want to alternate with a h2o2 mix, like 50/50,must use it when mixed.
