Amnesia Haze Auto slow to germinate?

Hey, folks. Newbie cannabis grower here (though experienced vegetable grower, lol).

I received Durban Poison (reg) and Amnesia Haze Autoflower seeds on 4/19, soaked 4 Durban Poison seeds and 2 Amnesia Haze seeds overnight in a warm room, planted them outdoors in good garden soil on 4/20.

The temperature has been around 78-80 degrees F (approx 26 degrees C). Nine days later, the Durban Poisons are all up and have their first set of true leaves. No sign of the Amnesia Haze at all. Is this normal? How long should I wait on the AHs before trying some more seeds? I’m only allowed 6 plants at a time, so I don’t want to end up with too many.

Thanks!

It can take up to two weeks for a seed to germinate, after that, I’d start another. However, those seeds are guaranteed if they’re ILGM, so you can get replacements.

Cool, thanks for the advice. I’ll give the AHs till mid-May to pop up before re-trying them. The good news is that I can afford to wait since they’re autos, so I don’t really have to worry about being “too late” getting started. It’s still hard to be patient, though.

I also recall reading a few people having some issues with the WWA. I can’t think of who it was at the moment to tag them over but when (if) I remember I will edit my post and tag them.

They all reached out to customer service and they made it right from what I understand. If it comes to that just email them with your order number. They are super helpful.

I’m happy to report that one of the two Amnesia Haze Autos popped up today! This happened right after our temperature dropped and it was cloudy for a few days. I don’t know whether that, or just time, was a factor. Still waiting on the other AH but now I’m more hopeful. I’m glad I didn’t jump the gun and plant the rest of the seeds.
