Am I in flowering mode? Mix or switch vitamins?

Hello everyone, I’m new to growing and new to this site so please correct me if my post needs to be formatted a certain way. I got a Gelato Cake bag seed and I believe it just hit flowering stage, can anyone confirm? And If I did, do I keep feeding less veg nutrients and slowly add in bloom, or do a quick switch or a flush? Sorry it is my first grow and I’ve been going off YouTube videos and online articles.

Greetings @Papichulo915 you should be close to it. Depends on where your located.
Also when they do start to flower they will usually complete a “Stretch”. This is a sudden explosive growth over a week or so. The tops of branches will grow and make room for bud development.
As for nutrients and flower your time to change levels of what they need changes. What nutrient line are you using? Better yet…

As for flower nutrients…i would start soon. 2 weeks before flip usually good. She will suck out the excess nitrogen in stretch then she will want p/k and a silica supplement is good then also. Silica will let her stretch better with solid stems to hold up heavy flowers.

Should I still use veg mixed in? I have about 6oz left

Can but no need probably. You are close to flower. More likely than not can start bloom nutes. Better growers will chime in. I am rusty now with living soil.

I’m in Las Cruces as well and have a few going out in a greenhouse and one truly “outdoors”, strangely they started flowering about a month ago.
I’m here for ya if ya ever wanna have a complain-party about our weather :joy:

I started using flower nutrients as soon as I noticed the little “hedgehogs”, bunches of the pistils etc, they seem happy with it.

Are you swimming in Oregonian drizzle down there today too? We have a rainy day today up in ABQ. :sunglasses: nice but renders a swamp cooler absolutely useless.

Yup! Been pouring on and off since last night, I’m loving the fact that it’s only 75° outside. Probably the first time it’s been below 80 since like April lol

Yeah that’s the downside… especially once the sun comes back and it gets 90 but the humidity hasn’t left yet, that’s the worst.
