It’s cool and I appreciate the feedback. Ok so I wait. What is the best a.f. You used
I have only planted 15 total, 10 WW and 5 Lowryder.
Lowryder was my very first grow at beginning of year. It was some tough lessons learned for sure. I’m sure if I had researched and studied BEFORE growing, I would have had better results but those lessons I was able to use when I started the WWA (Lowryder Journal linked in my WW journal).
I have been very pleased with my 9 WWA (one seed didn’t make it). Very hardy plants, very forgiving and provides a good smoke for a beginning grower.
I grow outdoors so I don’t know how much of this is translatable to indoor growing.
When I feel they are ready I put the hole plant in complete darkness for 48 hours then cut the plant and hang it in a cool dark place for about 4-7 days then I start the curing process with humidity bags in a mason jars …but I’m only on my 2nd harvest but it’s my 12th plant so you might want to double check my method with someone more experienced
Make sure you keep eye on trics and remember, trics continue to mature AFTER you chop and during drying.
Depending on what kind of high you are aiming for will determine when you harvest. Also take into account flushing 2 weeks prior to harvest. Are you going to drill or split stem, ice bath or 3 days darkness before harvest?
Inch or 2, but not enough to weaken stem.
Using a drill bit will be safer for your first. I used a corkscrew and a jackolantern carving tool to make my slit. My split was wide enough not to need something to keep split from healing but I put them in just in case.
Thank you for your help
Same to you and your family
