Aerogarden lights

What do you guys think about there light systems.

Like what they advertise on TV?
If so they might be fine for lettuce and herbs etc…although I would never use their system even for that as they use chemical nutrients but that’s just me and my thoughts relating to my health.
As far as for cannabis growing…nope…not even close to what is needed.

Most of the people attempting to grow in aero gardens end up spending more trying to make it suitable than just starting from scratch. The lights are underpowered, reservoir is small to sustain root mass developed over several month grow, and the recirculation pumps suck in the roots and get clogged. They are way more suitable as cloning system, or maybe an experienced grower type of pet project.

To answer your question, their bigger models use middle of the line leds, and older/smaller models were fluorescent. They perform in line with what you would expect for the size and cost.

A friend of mine had one for 20 bucks. But seeing as it not going to fulfill my plants needs then nope

The light or the whole aero garden?

The whole setup

They worked at a plant factory. And had a few still in boxes

Which model? The one I have was almost $200, $20 would be a steal. Just not the most ideal to grow plants to finish in.

She said it was a couple hundred dollars for the system. She got it for free and don’t have any use for it

I would pay $20 for it. Its just not ideal for you to flower plants in.

You could always get your plants or clones off to a good start in one of these. I have one just for this reason and at $20, I’d buy 3 just to have :v:

Seriously I’d buy the lot. I use them for seedling and cloning for my setups then transplant.

You have to add some air stone to the reservoir but with a little ingenuity anything is possible.
