A question from a fellow grower:
How many inches away from the canopy should my 1000 watt hps be hung and what should my room temp be?
I used to run my 1000 Watt hps at about 15 inches but I had a 3500 cfm blower to both cool the tube and run my carbon filter. Why not just go to LED’s and do away with the heat problem, provide more useful light and cut energy consumption by about 40%. You will rest better at night. Keep it green.
