If I add perlite to HAppyfrog for better drainage will it change any of the pH buffering qualities or anything like that and what amount would I add any advice is appreciated thanks

It will not. I go lightly at 8 dry qt of perlite to 4 cu ft of happy frog. If I recall correctly, before switching to coco, hellraiser did 8 quarts to 2 cu ft. But I mix mine in small batches and always run out of perlite before I get through a second bag of HF. So I’m technically somewhere between those two numbers, but only by a quarter of a bag of happy frog on avg.

I run Happy Frog and I just eyeball the quantity. I try to get close to 10 to 15% perlite by volume.

10-15% extra? Or total? Think imma try this one next time tho.
1 2.0 cubic foot bag of Happy Frog soil
3 cups of General Organics Ancient Forest Alaskan Humus
2 cups of Earthworm castings
2 tablespoons of Recharge

Probably what I hit too. Say you can go as high as 30 on other places.
