Ok let’s hear everyone’s ideas on how to get THC levels that seed breeders claim. We find the most don’t test what they claim. What’s the trick ?

Other than growing a healthy plant, there is nothing you can do to increase the thc level.

I have a Moby Dick in an outdoor 10G fabric pot that has just begun her pre-flowering stretch. After transplanting and Fimming her I went on vacation and she has lived her life with no further pruning. My question is it now too late to prune to increase bud size and placement? She’ s been in flower a little over two weeks.

i have heard different opinions on this topic but by my own experience i wouldnt prune any leaves off whille in flower unless they are dying like turning real light green and starting to turn yellow the buds need those leaves for carbs its what helps them get fat and its nice to have those leaves to slow down the drying and those leaves protect the goodies on the inside when they are hanging to dry

When is the right time to harvest in Bakersfield, California?

DO YOU KNOW WHAT PLANT VARIETY GROWS BEST IN FLORIDA. HUMIDITY

Hello outdoor growers. I have a question about and Outdoor grow. I have an outdoor garden that is really close to a light pole from the power company. Will this light effect my flowering stage? I think I might know the answer and it really hurts.

Yes it hurts sorry

Hi Dforce,

I have a question then. I have a critter problem (2 leg&4) and I put up some motion lights. Do I need to turn them off once flower time starts? They are not directly over the gardens, however they will cast some indirect/diffused light on the plants.

I have motion lights, and they come on once in a while, as deer, and critters walk by. They only stay on for 30 secs. As for the critters here, they like posing for the cameras when the light comes on.lol. So they don’t really scare them away. I have heard that marigolds help keep them away. I’m sure there may be some other plants you could plant around to help or as I’ve done in my earlier day’s, put up 6’ welded wire fence, and something like chicken wire ,easy to work with.My lights are more for security reasons, (theft). Good luck.

I forgot about mothballs, thanks for that. I was more worried if solar lights kick on nearby once they start flowering, will they get Fubared. I’m growing photos, not auto flower

You can adjust the length of the light period on many motion lights, adjust it as short as possible and you will be ok. Try to turn lights where they don’t shine directly at the plants. I have actually grown a plant right next to a street light and had no issues as I started it in the ground in that spot.

If I had a two legged problem I would not plant them in my yard.

I don’t need to worry about it for three months. That makes me feel better about your experience with the street light.

Cannabis eventually flowers outside no matter what in my experience. I think nothing really overrides the :sunglasses: sun. We can try but we can’t replicate mother nature and the plant knows the difference, so come August she’s flowering if she’s outside with decreasing sunlight.

What strain you growing?

These two are Amnesia Haze. I’m also growing super skunk. Chocolope, and Jack Herare. All seed grown photos from ILGM. I traded some seeds with @WB. I might pop some of those next month. Getting near my 12 plant limit so I still want Maui and purple punch.

Only one I’ve had real issue with outdoors is the Super skunk. It won’t make it outdoor here in my area due to its Afghan genetics. Gets bud mold and mildew bad. The Chocolope should do great. Purple Punch is one that does well outside with good yields. You boys have a longer growing season, I would try some type of Thai or Mexican Sativa. You can grow till what Dec 1st?

I’m in 7b USDA zone. Northern Az 2200 ft elevation by a creek. Its nice through oct, sometimes till December, with a little rain. The plants will be under cover of solex panels. The chocolope did well last year, I think its 90% sativa. So far my Jack Herare is the superstar. Its growing fast and furious. I made a few clones that took right off. I hope your wrong about the Super Skunk I was hoping to get 3 pounds or more from three SS plants.
