About drying, its hot outside

I am thinking that I’m about 2-3 weeks away from harvesting my Gelato AFs. It is hot out side and it is a struggle to maintain the temp in my grow space. 72 F at night and up to mid 80s peak during the day. I have read that ideal temp/humidity for drying is 60/60. The humidity I could handle but no way to get to 60F. Any advise on alternate methods or does anyone else have the same issue?

Without the lights on you should be much cooler.
Even so those temps are not awful and humidity is a bigger problem than temps.
If your humidity is good I would not worry.

I have the same issue, lowest temp i can get to is 79/80 degrees. I hang the plant in one piece and use my moisture meter to deside when to pull each cola.

Good Morning . I have the same issue at drying time. I have to dry in a mesh 6 tier hanging herb dryer. I have to put it in my closet with a fan blowing indirectly to keep air moving.:v:Happy Growing I also use a moisture meter to check when they are ready to bag or jar. This is the meter I use.

Hi @Flitme, what is the proper moisture to bag (after drying)? Just curious, as I’m about to cut at least one girl.

I did mine at 11-12%. It worked out quite well for me.:v:
