My girls today and yesterday.
100 gallon pot? I wanna see how big that sucker gets!
They’re only about 40 or so inches tall.
So, the girls are coming along. I kinda blew it when I placed the pots because they are losing their direct sun due to Autumn. I’ve never watched pot grow before so I’m wondering if this (there are more elsewhere, but just one pic) single calyx is normal.
Another question. I’m getting the fanleaf yellowing and dying off that I expected with flowering, but at the site (Of leaf drop) I’m getting new growth. Little baby leaves and buds. I should be removing those, too? Reminder, outdoor grow.
Yes, those are known as suckers since they suck up nutrients and energy that could be going to the flowers. You can go ahead and pluck them.
Aackkk. Cool and misty, today. Worried about getting moldy bits. Hopefully sun and warm again starting tomorrow. Getting close.
Hope things (the weather) give you a break, so you can get a decent harvest
Necessity…The mother of invention…gotta love it!
I might have to do something like that myself. I don’t have a real good spot. So I’m not out of my as I was thinking a box with a fan.
I saw this idea on another forum. The fan is a computer fan wired to an old phone charger. There are 2 small vents on the sides a bit up from the floor. The person who posted it said not to run the fan 24/7 because it dried too fast. I’ll just keep checking as I go. This is the scariest part, harvest, dry and cure!
Alrighty. I’m making my harvest plan. Should I cut down the whole plant in the early a.m. then (after I wake up) cut branches, wet trim (some), then bud wash and hang to dry? Or just cut stems while she’s still in the ground and trim, wash and hang as I go? Or does it not matter that much?
I cut the plant as soon as lights come on and hang to make it easy to snip branches off then take off fan leaves, wash if you want, then hang branches to dry! Some leave them in 3 days dark before chop, there! are several ways to do it, just need to find what you like!
Thanks, @holmes. That’s the way I’m leaning. Outdoors so no control over before harvest darkness. Lol.
