So running a photo and an autoflower currently in the 2x4 under the HLG 350R. Really trying to find that perfect veg point with this fixture. I reached out to HLG and they gave me the following information on the dimmer switch snd wattage. Thought I would pass this information on just in case anyone else is trying to dial in this awesome light. Cheers all!

It’s good info but still a guess. Buy a kilowatt meter and know exactly what watts your pulling from the wall
I’m doing the exact same thing with the same light. I’m running mine on the 280 setting. Here is some information I ran across while researching my light when I got it. I’ve kind of been following it.
If you do get a watt meter make sure you read it right. I have one and didn’t realize it was default showing the “low” not the actual wattage unless I clicked a button. Thought I was at 250ish watts was at like 400 
just a friendly tip to make sure to use it correctly.

In my grow, 1950 Watts advertised, 1100 Watts metered.

With the UT383-BT meter.
350R 25-Inches above, 200-watts (position 4) 45KLux, position 5, 50K).
Same output measured Vipar Spectra V1200 at 550 watts (great tent warmer).
My Android phone meter is useless.
