94 days since she first sprouted

This is a GSCE Auto. Any guesses on how much longer before chopping? This is my first grow.

Looks like a very successful grow for a first timer. Getting clearer focused image of trichomes on the buds will give the community a much clearer picture of your plants maturity. It look to me she is still pushing calyxes and pistils. Some trichomes are cloudy but I’m not seeing any amber on the buds. Looks like 7-10 days to me.

Im thinking the same as @Fatz1973, youre getting real close

From what im seeing you still have about 10 percent clear trichs and not much amber at all. You could harvest now and have a great uplifting buzz from this bud or you could wait until you have about 10 to 15 percent amber and have what i consider the strongest buzz you will get. That will take pribably another 5 to 7 days. The more amber you go for then the more couch lock you will have. Check em every day now tho things can change fast. By the way nice looking buds.

I took some pics this morning using my phone and some with an endoscope. Thoughts?

That is a beautiful specimen. Great pics too!!! Looks to me that you would be safe harvesting this plant. However the trichomes to me look full and cloudy but there aren’t many amber trichomes on the buds. Depending what high you are looking for. I can still see in the closeups that she is pushing calyx’s and pistils. Not as vigorously, so if your looking for a couch lock high I’d wait 4 days. Be sure to check the bud trichomes at least twice a day at wake-up and lights out because when they start to turn amber you want to pull it not let it go too far. You are looking for 10-15% amber trichomes on the calyx’s. Looking freakin fantastic!!!

You can see the white hairs she is still pushing. Looks like she may be foxtailing on some of the buds but that is not a detriment. She will mature quickly but I would wait for the amber trichs she is just adding weight while you wait. @dbrn32 thoughts on harvesting? Thank you very much.

Thanks so much. Yeah, she started foxtailing a couple weeks ago. I raised the lights further up to try to stop it, but she’s got a mind of her own. I’ve tried to follow the DLI chart, but I failed miserably with my LST effort on her so I knew the cola was getting a higher DLI because I tried to half it so the lower buds would still get enough light. One of the many lessons I’ve learned along the way. Hahaha

I’ll hold off for a bit. I do want to get some couch lock out of her.

Yeah I’m learning lessons right now with my plants. It is a continual learning process. Patience is the strongest trait of the greatest growers.

I would probably let them go until you start seeing a few amber trichs come in on buds. Looks nice and close.

I think you could chop today if wanted. You look to be at max thc. If want some sedation another week. Right now it is pure fire.

I wat hed all the videos of the giy who took a bud every week abd checked its thc percentage and it was def how his looks. The extra week or 2 for couch lock in the tests was losing 5 percent thc a week after started turning amber. Def lose thc the more couch lock his got

totally agree with everything you said may take a little longer to get the 10 to 15 percent tho just watch em close now for sure

Great job those look fantastic!!! I see the new calyx’s are now coming out yellowed. Your bud trichomes are 100% cloudy still not seeing much amber on the buds, but I would say you are free to harvest them as you see fit. If the strain is a sativa dominant you are at maximum THC if it is indica dominant you can wait a few days for the 15% amber heads. That is going to be some FINE SMOKE. :call_me_hand:t2::call_me_hand:t2:

Thanks man. This strain (GSCE) is supposed to be 80% Indica 20% Sativa. I’ll keep waiting on her. Pretty excited to see how it turns out.

She’ll definitely be worth the few extra days. I’m going to buy some GSCE beans in the future I’d like to try that.

I’ve had Girl Scout Cookies a few years back and loved how absolute chill the buzz was. So when I decided to try this hobby out, that was an immediate first. I’m definitely gonna get another seed started as soon as this one gets chopped. Learned a ton with this first grow, so next one should have fewer mistakes.
