Because of their weight garden rocks can pack soil overly tight when watering making it difficult for roots to move easily through

This is the one soil I got an yāall kno what Ocean forest it an I got

But yes Iāma skip perlite this grow n use super soil by pot for pot with oceans forest an black and gold soil with tomato secret an one with pot for pots superb soil with either jus oceans forest or mixed black an gold with Superb soil by pot for pot

Really depends on composition of the soil. Imo ff without perlite is prone to have compaction issues. I put perlite in coco or buy 70/30 mix and coco is probably least needing it. Itās not that you canāt grow without perlite, just that most people prefer the benefits.

Yea I agree with you thatās y I wanted opinions Iām not one to grow without perlite but I have had grown lotta plants without xtra perlite but with it they do so much betterā¦ itās a big difference.imo
But yea I did oceans forest half way up 7 gal bucket then then I made like a hole n took black n gold n covered oceans forest then added 1cup tomato secret then light dusting of soil n very light dusting of tomato secret an worm castings then my GodFather O.Gthen black n. Gold n oceans forest mix for the top half btw my GodFather is bout a 3 weeks old

It really donāt look bad to me. Has nice color a bit yellow uptop but may just be rapid growth. Depending on the nutes u use just add a touch more of the one that has nitrogen in it like I use jacks if it seems light on n or lighter color I add a little more part b to the mix

I donāt know much about ff nutes. Maybe it was @Carpenter who used them. I know it calls for a regular flush here and there tho.
