I gave up on the oscillating fans, I have a couple of fans mounted stationary. Have not had any problems. Good luck

I have had luck with my 6" Monkey Fan. It has been running virtually 24/7 for 30 months. From reviews and comments on the forum I may be the exception. In my new space I did go with stationary fans. One on the ceiling and one on a wall.

Walmart or meijers and just get the 10 and 12 dollar fans. Some last a while some not so long but not bad priced don’t get the black and blue colored ones from meijers tho as they died super fast. So far walmart’s fans done me well for grow rooms.

I believe mine are hydro farm. 12". Have to ck this eve, but they have been work horses. Have 4 and 0 problems so far. Hope I didn’t jinx myself :green_heart::metal:
They are roughly 6 yrs old

Vivosun used to sell this fan then dropped it. This is exactly the same fan. The clip is better than most and holds the bar well. I have been running mine nonstop for about two years. I stopped it the other day and is wouldn’t get up any speed when I restarted but a drop of oil on the shaft behind the fan blade and it took off again. So maybe once a year a drop of oil would be good.
Maybe I just lucked out and got a good one

I purchased an Active Air clip on it is a brushless fan so it might last longer. I have used it through one grow with no issues.:v:

They are much better quality and made for attaching to tent poles. Very easy to move up and down. The cheap ones work, but have clip type attachments and fall down alot unless you zip tie them. I plan on replacing them as they wear out with the monkey fans or even the new AC Infinity ones.

I am just upgrading to an AC Infinity 9" oscillating fan. It has 10 speeds and can be connected to an AC Infinity smart controller.

Vern: You are welcome. I am in the midst of a grow room upgrade right now - looking to correct some major mistakes from prior grows. You are asking some great questions though. Someone “out there” has the answers to your questions . . .
