5 gal dwc outdoor grow

I live in Massachusetts and have had great success with my indoor 5 gal dwc/hydro setup for my Gold Leaf strain. However, I got such a good yield (drying now so don’t know exact amount) that it overwhelmed my venting and my wife complained about the smell. My question is has anyone tried this setup outside? I heard that there could be a problem with the water getting too warm and affecting the oxygen levels. Any comments would be appreciated.

No experience outside, but I’ve thought about it, and you’ll have to bury the containers below the ground level, to keep root zone at decent temperatures. This also includes the water circulating to the buckets.
But if you keep the root zone happy, the rest can be done.
