Hello guys getting set to harvest my girls but first im going to put them in 48 hr darkness. One problem i watered my girls today at 2am lights go out at 2 pm. Should i wait 24 hrs before 48 hr darkness concerned about mold. How long should i wait after watering.

You will get varied opinions on whether to do 48 hours of darkness and whether or now to water before harvesting. There are debates on both sides that make sense.
I water the night before harvest so that I have swollen calyxes as much as is possible. I don’t do a 48 hour dark period, but some growers swear by it.

I see no reason to do a 48 hour darkness. Why? Because they will be in the dark while in the drying and curing phase.

48hr of darkness has been proven and it has good theory behind it as to why it boosts thc and terp content.

I’ve done it many times and still do it but if I’m being completely honest…don’t see any difference between doing it and not.
