Anyone get in on any 420 sales? HLG has 25% off all lights and lot of other companies have great sales.
I got a HLG black wing. It looks cool and has good PAR map and Efficiency. I have not had any experience with this company before but hear lots of good things

I’m excited got the Raymatix harm+ in my 2x4 that light is awesome so I guess I’m going to have to get another tent that will make four. I think I need an intervention

I use to run a lot of UVA and B back in the day. I worked for a hospital in Maint & Eng. When they pulled all there UV fixtures out of patience care rooms and other places around the hospital I bought a few of the fixtures and all the UV bulb stock back in the late 1980’s. I ran them for many years until I went through all the bulbs. Fact is the UVB fluorescents and compact fluorescents did not last long. UVB is hard to make in quantity and the bulbs degrade fast. It did make a difference for the better. But knowing how long the bulbs lasted and the cost of replacements on the retail market that are nowhere near as good as medical grade bulbs I stopped using it. Saw the generic UVA at HLG and now I have two. I haven’t got a full grow cycle in yet. But being able to run UVA led at max 12 hours compared to a max of 6 hours on the old system I had is a plus and UVA does have a cumulative effect and there is a trace of UVB in these UVA lights. It’s not much but I’m good with it. HLG has the UVA-30 and the XL They both have the same led count and are 30 watt lights. The XL is just longer. I run the UVA-30 in my 3 x 3 and the XL in my 2 x 4. It’s a crap shoot if it works for you. I’ve seen more trichomes over the years growing the same strains with and with out back to back. Some claim smaller buds. I’ve not seen that unless somebody flat out nuked there plants with UVB or some folks playing with UVC. Proper UVC is dangerous and should never be used, nasty shit! Good Luck!
