4 leaf intersection

Has anyone seen a 4 leaf node? I’ve got a Purple Haze growing outside and noticed not only does it have 4 leaves on node 3, but it has topped itself. Is this unusual?

You may have a polyploid there. The last one I had put out so much foliage that it choked itself. You’ll want to keep it trimmed.

Pics of the polyploid I had last year. Stuff was growing everywhere, and new growth was so dense that parts of the plant were choked off and died. I took her to harvest, but there was a LOT of trimming involved.
