20 days into flower. Tricromes starting to really pop

They are looking great. Won’t be long now and they will start gaining weight and the pistils will be turning brown.

This is my favorite part of the grow, when they really get going making flowers.

They are drinking about 3/4 of a gallon every 2 1/2 days. I have been feeding them a dose less than the recommended amount. I am using General Nutritions Liquid Kool Bloom 0 10 10 bulking formula as well as Flora Nova Bloom 4 8 7.

2 days ago there really weren’t any significant trichromes on the buds. Went to feed them today and bam, there they were. Without question, pretty cool!

You can see differences within hours when they’re beginning to flower. Things happen fast!

Do you think they are done going vertical?

It’s hard to tell. You’ll notice the stretching slowing as the buds really start stacking up, probably within the next week or two. Every strain is different, and phenotypes within strains can vary a lot even. Just keep doing what you’re doing! :+1:

Not going to complain for bag seeds! They are starting to look yummy!!! I have my clones going in my veg room. I will be putting them right into flower when I harvest the first set.

Actually, I won’t flower until I have another set of viable clones.

3 week stretch is usually max…
plants wont stretch after 3 weeks since light flip…
After 3 weeks the canopy is where it will be till finished…

@Bubblehead
Had to post the pics here. The system kept faulting out. Kept saying saving, saved finished but they wouldn’t load. Here are a few more from today. Really having a blast growing my own!

Really nice looking buds there @Originalgazelle. You are making me impatient as my plants are about 2 1/2 weeks behind yours…thanks for the sneak peek.

this ^ most strains typically stop stretching around 2 weeks into the flower cycle and 3 weeks is pretty much the max (in my experience with the various strains I’ve grown at least) for these plants though going by the pics I’ve seen I would assume the stretch is over and it’s time for them to start packing on weight QUICKLY it’s awesome to watch.

There you go…very nice picture and plants. I’m loving my first grow also even though I think I killed one this week. :face_with_head_bandage:

Talk about impatience…I’m out and keep looking at the single leaves covered in trichromes. Don’t think I would have to smoke the actual leaves but more of a vaporization of the crystals in a bowl. I can’t bring myself to hurt her yet lol. Good things come to those who wait, good things come to those who wait. I’ll keep telling myself that. :man_facepalming:

That looks sooo nice!!! BTW, If I snipped a couple of the coated leaves, do you think I would feel it at all? :grimacing::roll_eyes:

Honestly I think the trichs ain’t ripe enough yet. Give it a couple weeks and I think you could snag a little bit. IMO :sunglasses::v::call_me_hand:
