2 Jack Herrer started 9/11/21

Hey Fam, how has everybody been? Started my 3nd grow. 2 ilgm auto Jack Herres!! Planted germinated seeds on 9/11/21!! (NEVER FORGET). Using FF happy frog this time, last grow I used FF ocean forest. Didnt switch up soil for any reason just wanted to see how this grow would go and see which soil I like best. Using FF grow big and tiger bloom nutes. Havent started then yet, too early in the grow. Think theres enough nutes in the soil for atleast 4 weeks… Any input? Does 4 weeks sound about right? Doing an 18/6 light schedule. Im on the east coast and I have my grow tent in my outdoor shed. I insulated my shed with foam board, actually really keeps the right temps inside! Using mars hydro TSW 2000. Have a carbon filter and a fan inside to circulate air. 1st grow I did 6 plants. I believe it was too many for the light that I have. All 6 came out great, incredible high from all 6!! Definitely tons of room for improvement. This time im only doing 2 plants, probably should of did 4, that will be next time. Im trying for denser buds this time so i figured I would do 2. Hope u guys follow my grow and im sure I will be asking you guys for plenty of advice.

Right on Brother! Man you’ve come miles in such a short time. My current run of FF coco loco which is slightly less hotter than OF needed nutes around week 3.5-4. I took a bag sample for a slurry test before I started to have some run off numbers to compare to. They started seriously depleting those around that time frame. Hope that helps :love_you_gesture:

I used Happy Frog on my last run and really liked it, prefer coco though. Mainly for drainage and the ability to constantly feed. Happy frog and Coco Loco are around the same as far as preloaded nutrients for early growth :love_you_gesture:

Do you have a Ph pen and a TDS meter???

@Audiofreak yes I have both

@OGIncognito yes experimenting is lots of fun unless something goes wrong, lol. But then u learn from ur mistakes. I really need to figure out if dry or wet trim works for me. I have done both. I think dry trim nay be better for me. The trim and dry are the toughest parts for me, especially the dry, need that on point. Thats gonna take time n practice to perfect

Ph everything going in and out. TDS everything going in or out. The TDS will tell you what’s in the soil (neuts) and what the plant needs and when. That soil can last 4/6+ weeks so monitor TDS closely before you feed neuts. I usually start feeding at or about 800/1000 ppms.

With ya on trimming. I’ve done both and prefer dry after I remove any growth that isn’t going to give me some keef :love_you_gesture:. I’m working on a big Keef ball, aiming for golf ball

Tell me your trim method if you don’t mind.

I just dry trim in the Trim Bin and scrape the shake and trim on the built in screen, then collect on the bottom bin. I dry snip all the buds from the stalks and bag in Grove Bags.

Right on, same here. Started that way after I decided I wanted more keef than what’s in my grinder. Appreciate the confirmation

I’m learning, last trim I just banged it on the screen and lightly scraped the larf over the screen and got 4g. This time I worked it harder and got 10g and its killer.

I would love to follow along!! Happy Growing :blush::blush:

Yep, I figured that out the hard way after the 3rd harvest over the trim bin. Like yourself I rubbed the last harvest pretty good and it almost equaled the 1st 3.
