1st time-should I do something?

3 plants. The spindley one was 1st to come up, biggest plant followed a few days later, 3rd plant is a reseed about 2 weeks behind. Six weeks overall

Soil moisture around 35%
Light accumulation 9700 mmols a day over 18 hours

Concerned about spindley plant. I just switched their positions in case it was a lighting issue. From what you can see, a thing I should do different? Have given them all growth nutrients through common irrigation system.

Curious George here,

How do you measure the soil moisture? I like the potential of how knowing this could add some tricks of the trade up my sleeve

Can you get pictures in natural light? It makes it very hard to see anything in the blurple.

What exactly potting soil? What exactly nutes? How are you delivering them? Are you PH’ing your water? How old are your plants? What exactly lights? How do you monitor PH?

These are all important questions needed to help you grow good cannabis.

FYI: there is nothing more important in growing mj than properly PH’ing your liquid input.

As I noted, plants are 6 weeks old except for smallest. I don’t have a way to PH them but have been using the Growth nutrients from my starter kit from ILGM. Lights are a full spectrum 1000W LED grow light. Concern is the difference between the two oldest plants since they are raised in the same water, environment, etc. Is there something I should do different, or an explanation why one is spindly and the other is full of foliage? Third plant looks like it will be full as well.

Every strain behaves differently to your environmental conditions. Even 3 plants within the same strain will behave quite differently.

Without more information it’s almost impossible to be able to point you in the right direction. You need a PH meter or water with distilled or R/O water only. Your soil may or may not be okay for use with cannabis: that’s why I asked what kind? The amount of light you are getting is important; that’s why the exact light information is important. Pictures in natural light allow us to see the health of your girls.

Your temps can come up which should help with moisture exchange.

Being in the correct PH range renders the essential nutrients the plants need to be soluble in water. If you are too high or low PH the plant will get too much and too little of the minerals needed to sustain growth. Your plants will suffer and either die or hermaphrodite on you.

@Myfriendis410 is a very good grower and gave you some good advice :v::bear:

I agree with @Myfriendis410. The only thing I would add is they look to be ready for a transplant. Other than that they look good for now, but you will have to be able to monitor PH to keep them looking this healthy.

FYI, in reality it is most likely in the 250-350 watt range. You should be able to look up the real specifications on the internet, or look at the power consumption sticker on the light itself.

I think you have solid info. Curious as to where you got this information?

Ah ok all good cheers

See my comment earlier in the thread about a plant monitor. Tracks temp, light, soil moisture and soil nutrients. Haven’t quite figured out the last item

Everything is looking great. Moving them around helped fill the one plant out. Starting to see buds/flowers forming

I have no idea how accurate those are, but the conversion from mmol to mol is .001. So you are providing 9.7 mols per day. Recommended levels for cannabis are usually between 30 and 50 mols per day.
