Newbie. Jack herer auto’s in 50/50/30 ffof/ffhf/perlite. Beginning week 4 straight ph water so far. How do I know when to start nutes?

Is that better? And only way to check that is the run off after a good watering correct?

It’s testing your medium. Take equal parts of your medium from down in the root zone and mix that with equal parts of distilled water. I let it rest for 24 hours and strain the liquid through a coffee filter and test that. I’ll do this sometimes on a bag medium before I drop a seed just to see. Typically the slurry test is reserved for issues and when you need a soil/coco PH and TDS
