Hello! This is my first grow. These are the Godfather strain, 4 weeks today, and about 7" tall.
Feedback appreciated. I’d like to know if these look about right and when to start 12/12 light cycle.
Thank you.
Look good. Considee your strtch. Plan for double…expect 30% stretch. If have the headroom i would veg them a lot more. Plenty time.

What’s the size of your space? What light are you using?
Looks good from my seat are they photos? This might help everyone help you… welcome!
Thank you. The tent is 4 x 2. It came with a VS1000 LED grow light. I don’t know what that means, but it’s on the lowest setting and is about 20" away right now.

You don’t need any nutes for about 4 to 5 weeks when using ocean forest .Your humidity is way low at 37
You may need humidifier to raise that. What are you misting? Don’tist the plants. These girls like to dry out, then water
Good luck
Awesome. 3 plants in that space is reasonable. You’re going to run into difficulty with your light. Cannabis is a very light hungry plant. You’ll get through veg without issue… but you’ll be under powered for flower.
Looks great so far
Let me add that a pH meter is very important (don’t get a cheap one!). A TDS meter is important as well.
Looks like they got the main points out what are you using for nutrients once you start? Also I would run the ventilation if they are a month old… just me… also a chart that was shared to me that I found helpful
As someone who is currently growing with the VS1000 x2 in my veg tent (a 4x3, I use one vs1000 on each 1x3 section of the 2-level part of my tent and a 240w light in the 3x3 chunk), I agree with @Underthestairs totally. The light is a good light, packs a punch for what it is, but at the end of the day it’s still only a 100w light and that won’t get you far into flower for 3 plants (and more importantly, for a 4x2 grow space).
Absolutely on both counts here as well. No wonder I agree, he mentored me through my first couple grows.
A BlueLabs or Apera pH pen is gold. A cheap TDS meter will be fine, but if you can spring it and pick up a combo meter to do your pH and PPMs/tds together, you may enjoy having one less thing to mess with in the future.
Ur plants look good are they photos or autos if there photos i would let them grow more before flipping and if autos a 18/6 or a 20/4 light cycle and autos flower by th selfs no need to flip
I guess the moral of my questioning was for this… if you can upgrade your lighting, I’d do that before flipping to flower. If you’re not in a place to do so, I’d flip sooner that later because the smaller plants won’t require as much light and you’d most likely be more satisfied with your product quality of they didn’t fill your space and be starved for light.
So I’m some ways, it’ll depend on how serious you want to get into a really addictive hobby
This is not a drill. it’s dangerously addictive
I have 2 of the Vivosun VS1000s myself in a 3x3 tent growing 4 autos… that’s the very bottom of the minimum requirements for light. I’ve had 2 successful 4 plant harvests. Max yield is about 7 dry oz. per 4-plant grow. Plenty for me and my wife so I see no need whatsoever to upgrade. Depends on your needs
Welcome and good luck!
