I would slow down on water for that little one. Just a bit will do and never on the stem

Don’t think so but like now you have a post, you can look back at the names of people that helped.

I’m doing a northern lights auto as well. @Bulldognuts has helped me out a lot. He has some good advice

I water around my dome but without I would say a inch or more away from stems and just a bit. High humidity is your friend they get most nourishment from leaves.a misted dome provides almost 100% of what they need at that size

Welcome to the forum. They are correct, best way I can think of explaining. Make a halo around the plant by using the tips of your most outward leaves. That young, you could mist with a water bottle and give it enough after 10 sprays or less. Domes come in handy to keep humidity up. Mist the walls of the dome and push it into the soil to seal. At this age, water is taken in through the leaf. Once it has established a root system, then it will use the roots to absorb water and nutrients

By doing this, your roots will always be reaching out further and you will avoid giving your plant stem rot.

2 weeks old today. One is growing faster than the other but I think they both look good so far.

I’m not sure if it just on my end or you didn’t finish letting the pics upload before you sent but I can’t see them.

Here are pictures of 3 week old northern lights plant. They were both planted at the same time but one is much larger than the other one.

What is better clip the tops or bend the plant to the side?
