Yes … no way around it… i ph after nutrients and let them sit out for 15 minutes before adding new nutrients…

@peachfuzz my mix was reading at 700 ppm last night when I added them. For some reason this morning is was 730. Had a little nute burn on new growth tips. Added some water and brought it down to 660

@peachfuzz preparing to transfer. Was going to mix 2 gallons worth of solution then empty to correct water level. That should work right? @basementstealth @GreenJewels @Smokinnuggs

Looking like I may have something. Last thing I did was up the watts on my lights. When from around 75 to 80. Lowered down to 72. Hopefully that’s the cause. @dbrn32 @peachfuzz @Smokinnuggs @Lostscuba @basementstealth

You transplanting into your bucket you built?

The cause of what? It’s a much more powerful light than you were using, you should take caution to slowly increase intensity.

It’s looking like a CalMag diffiency again. When I changed the water on Thursday I cut the CalMag from 5ml to 2.5ml. That could be the cause. Today I transplanted and put in 6ml to 2 gallons of water. Hopefully that cures it. If not I’ll be changing out the water and boosting the CalMag to 8ml for 2 gallons. @dbrn32 @peachfuzz

So I ended up getting what seems to be another CalMag deficiency again. Think I have it under control now. Cause from Friday till Saturday it spread pretty damn fast. This was the changes I did on Thursday and and on Saturday I corrected when I transplanted. I went from 5ml of CalMag to 2.5 which reads 188 ppm. Also over the course of 2 days I boosted my light watts from about 72 to 80 or maybe a smidge over.
On transplant day. I noticed the rash coming on so I correct my changes. In this nute mix I put 3ml of CalMag and dropped the light intensity back down to 72 watts. It looks to have stopped spreading but I’ll have a better ideal of that later on today. So I have a question does light intensity effect CalMag?
Also here was the recipe at transplant per gallon which I used 2 gallons of water then drained some to get correct water level 1 inch below net pot.
All below was per gallon so it’s double
3ml CalMag
5ml micro
10ml gro
9ml bloom
After that ppm was reading around 640. Then the very next day ppm for some reason read over 700 and had some signs of nute burn so I added plain water. Brought it back down to about 660 ppm. But again this morning it’s right at 700. Ph is stable at 6.0

Glad you got it under control. Light intensity will effect photosynthetic rates, which will in turn effect just about everything the plant does. Nutrient uptake would be one of those things. Vpd can also be one of them, so keep an eye on that too.

Vpd? @dbrn32

Yea me too just got rid of root rot just using nutrail water cold water 2 days and a row bomb gone but I wouldn’t know buddy your in good hands

I looked up Vpd. Seems complex. Kinda hard for me to understand so hopefully that won’t be an issue. @dbrn32

I have a chart in my grow area and refer to it daily when checking my rh and temp
