1000w light help

i have a 4x4 tent is a 1000w LED enough light?

No in a word. Look at the wattage it’s pulling. You want 300+ watts so maybe two lights would get you closer to what you need. I’m sure someone will pop in with lighting recommendations. LOL

No, because a chinese light marketed as a 1000 watts is usually only 100 real watts.

Look at 2 HLG 260W XLs.

I agree with the above recommendations

it says 180 real watts

I was generalizing, regardless, 180 watts is nowhere near enough to properly light a 4x4 either, would be looking for something around 500-600 real watts at a minimum.

IMHO 300+ actual watts will produce good solid buds. A pair of 260’s totaling 360 watts could work…

A pair of 260’s equals 520 watts, actually more because you can turn them up higher than 260 watts.

2- 260W would give you the watts, the ppfd and the umols to grow all the weed a 4x4 can grow!

I run two 260w in my 3x3
You could run them in a 4x4 but I want more like two 320xl’s

If the price is to steep start with one 320xl and buy another one later.

agree with @Hellraiser @Holmes
Either way its good

1000w LED Grow Light with Bloom and Veg Switch,Yehsence (15W LED) Triple-Chips LED Plant Growing Lamp Full Spectrum with Daisy Chained Design for Professional Indoor Plants, can Replace HPS Grow Light

Still not enough light for a 4x4 tent. 180 (watts)/16 (sq ft) = 11.25 watts per square foot = horribly under lighted.

To give you an idea of good strong lighting, I run about 500 actual watts of LED in a 3x3 tent 500/9 = 55 watts per square foot. That makes for awesome big dense buds and great yields.
