Like you, I was a big Windows fan. Got a Mac and will never go back. My gaming PC is windows based but that’s all I use it for. Everything just works on a Mac.
I almost mentioned gaming. That’s about the only reason anyone I know keeps a Windows PC anymore. I was never into that but the Mac stands head and shoulders above all else where songwriting and home recording are concerned.
Exactly. I got the mac for video and photo editing.
For games, I wanted a desktop PC so I could more easily add upgrades like dual 4GB video cards cross-linked. Of course, it only shares the processor on the 2nd card, not memory, which is a bummer.
