“What strain would you suggest for making Simpson Oil?”
I’m currently growing Afghan because of the high CBD content. But have been making the oil out of all kinds of street weed and they are all good.
If I was to choose again I probably wouldn’t go with Afghan because of its lower yield and longer flower time. If I was buying again (which I am), I’d be looking at california dream and white widow, both high yielding plants, with a 2 to 3 week less flower time, and similar CBD levels. Higher THC too.

According to Rick Simpson in the making of Simpson oil you should use a Indica dominate strain with high THC content. He does not mention CBD content. I was thinking of using afgan at first but now thinking of using Godfather OG. It is 60% indica and 40% sativa with a very high THC content. Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated.
