@bob31, weirdest thing, also when I click on a post, it will switch but before it diesnit shows that ILGM guy, guess it’s Bergman holding the magnifying glass and potted plant… Some posts have white backgrounds and some have the ILGM background bleeding through… I don’t care but when post is in green part, it’s harder to read

I don’t see that bro my screen has a white background ? But I don’t use a computer I’m either on my phone or tablet @Zombo ? Maybe that’s the difference

@Countryboyjvd1971… I’m on iphone… Maybe it’s because I’m a nube? Lol

@Countryboyjvd1971 @bob31 @Niala… Hey guys, wanted to ask a question… My plants are flowering now and are on 14/10 light schedule. I have another tent in same room that have my 3 mystery plants in veg… Also on 14/10 light schedule. Can I switch both to 12/12? Mostly concerned with my Northern Lights that are in flower but those mystery plants are getting big and I still don’t know sex of them and may have to make a move sometime soon… I figured I’d ask the big guns on the site, the ayatollahs of rock and rolla lol… Have a good evening fellow growers

Ok, @Zombo , a schedule of 14/10 with a photo-period cannabis plant (regular or feminized origin, not auto-flowering) will not transit to flowering stage until you switch them to 12/12…

They will continue to Veg and made pistils without developing in a flower (pre-flowering or buds in the making), and, that’s behind the “Mother” thinking… :wink: More you let it Veg, more pistils, pre-flowering "buds"site it will be, and, by extension, more harvest you gone a have… or more clones or breeding you will be able to do…:wink:

In an other subject, how does your sick plant ?

I think we’re gonna need some pics to help with this decision (mandatory pre-bud porn, if you will!)

Of course @bob31, of course :wink:

@Niala @bob31 @Countryboyjvd1971… Ok, the plants are in full flower now since may 8… I originally started them on 18/6 then was reading that 14/10 was a good schedule so I switched them from 18/6 to 14/10… See pics below… Long story short, not sure why they started flowering but they did… My idea is to get the other ones to show their sex and was wondering if putting the flowering plants from 14/10 to 12/12… @Niala… Not sure if I solved the problem but I did trim off bad leaves… My ph is tuck at 5.8 or 5.9… Gonna try flushing net watering this week in an attempt to raise the ph

Funny thing is only one of my northern lights looks like this, the other is showing no crinkled, mottled leaves @Niala @bob31… Plants look good other than this issue here, buds are nice size and nice smell, skunky smell

I think the low ph may have locked out some nutes, like you mentioned @bob31… I watered in some nutes this weekend at ph of 7.5 but the runoff still was 5.8/ 5.9… Hoping they drank some big bloom and tiger bloom in for the bud growth

good deal. Yeah I was just reading back through. Strange thing, it’s almost as if whatever keeps the pH at 6.5 is missing from your soil.

@bob31 @Niala I added a tablespoon of pulverized dolomite lime the other day… Maybe another dos when I water later this week?

I will strongly suggest you to stop feeding them for at least 2-3 feed schedule… And only water with two or three times the usaly amount of water you given them, at pH’ed 7.5… Again, only water, no matter the PPM… And pH at 7.5 … @Zombo… The dolomite is dissolved best at 7.0 and higher…

@Niala, do you think I should add lime to water with waterings or just wait until ph gets to right spot? Also, wanted to let you guys know that I have been feeding very lightly basically they get a nute watering once very 2 weeks and ppm going in is like at 1000 to 1100, just given you extra info on what I have been doing

@Niala, let me clarify, I added a tablespoon of lime directly to soil… I scraped off like 2/3 inches and sprinkled lime in then covered it back up

@Niala, you mean water with 2 to 3 times more water at 7.5. Use more water than usual?.. Like flushing root zone so to speak?

Al, he has been having this low pH issue for weeks. No matter what we have tried it always comes out low. The last idea we decided on was adding the lime to see if it would help raise the pH.
