POTUS to crack down on recreational marijuana use?

With you on that ! Cannabis is good medicine !

The fourth thing that can happen, I saw from working in the E.R., is that they cut the drugs with all kinds of dangerous stuff. I have seen more than my share of Overdoses on contaminated drugs. Rarely see people in the E.R. for a pot overdose except for people eating too many edibles and start to freak out. They can usually sleep it off with no harmful side efffects !

medically it is great for so many things I guess, I use it to not think about things I don’t want to think about though ive never been diagnosed I think I am bi polar. it makes thing bearable. but I like the recreational part too. they don’t mind selling alcohol, and im not against its use but I use to drink a long time ago and have done more stupid stuff because of it, the violent tendencies, the poor judgement makes for a really bad time. I don’t drink and haven’t for 30 plus years, but can get it with ease. If you have enough money you can go to the doctor and get government approved drugs that are 10 times worse than pot. I still am trying to understand how it got a class 1 drug coupled with cocaine and heroin. even though I have not had the kind of pot I hope to grow from here, from time to time I will run across some in its class here they call it hydro, but in the 70,s diff kinds would come around Acapulco gold, sesimillin , thai sticks hash and I would by some and get really high at first. but by the time I got to the end of and ounce my resistance would level out and well it just seemed normal. as in anything each individual has to know their limits. all kind of things kill and hurt you. overweight people aren’t denied food even though it would make them healthy… rich people aren’t denied the ability to make more money even though its as addictive as any drug and hurt as many people. even at one time drinking milk was bad for you. I guess what im trying to say is that everyone has to look within themselves and figure out what they need to survive. its been like that since the beginning of time and will continue until well after we are gone. certain people want to dictate what others should think or do, we are not all alike and as long as you don’t hurt anyone else what you do is what you do. . I guess I just want to be able to smoke and not feel guilty I don’t have friends that smoke anymore and never had many to start with. I would like to visit Colorado and actually be free. I have never felt that before. sorry I got off track but it all ties in together I think.

I am just hoping for decriminalizing since Canada will in essence follow Trumps lead even though our latest elected flunky had MMJ as huge selling point on his campaign

He just said that to get in…

Just to add to @Masshole’s comment on orders being confiscated, I received an order 12 days ago, exactly 9 days from shipping, so hopefully what the others experienced was random and not the start of lean times?

Hope you are right. I just ordered California Dream and want to get into that. It sounds like exactly what I need for my medicine! I have many other seeds but it just sounds like what I need !

the thing is…the next administration can undo all these regulations…this changing legal landscape, not just for mmj but abortions and transgender bathroom use and the list goes on is not reassuring.

The Federal government doesn’t really have any jurisdiction on tribal land.

Out of that article, the thing that pisses me off the most is the Feds talking about going after recreational use when it’s legal in D.C.!

D.C. isn’t even a state! It’s the seat of our federal government, nothing more. How can they tell the states no when they said yes?? The will of the people doesn’t matter to those in power.

It will be sad if the tribes give in…

I agree with to each his own. I don’t like abortion, but they don’t directly affect me or my family. So…it’s your life to live and you have to answer for your own choices.

BUT…

If one of my granddaughters was to come out of a bathroom freaked out by a transgender guy being in there with her…now your choice has affected me and my family in a negative way.

I’m all about people being able to live their lives as they see fit, but when your choices in life dictate what choices I can make, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!

In public, we have to consider more than just our own life. Do what you want in your private life. Do it in public and I now have the right to choose to do what I want as well. Of course, I’ll be the one going to jail, but my girls are worth it.

I’ve seen unisex bathrooms. Transgender people can use those. I’m getting tired of biting my tongue to not offend people that don’t seem to have a problem offending me.

I’m sorry for this rant. It’s not directed at you personally. I’m just sick of it being ok for me to be offended while being expected to let it go.

Would you want me in the bathroom with your daughter??? Really think about it…

we are friends first and foremost, @FloridaSon

you want me to judge you fit to escort my daughter into a bathroom. do you carry a running chainsaw and wear a leather mask?

it’s kind of situational, by how you grew up and how society views such things…what we don’t do here is the routine in other places.

and say I couldn’t escort her for whatever reason and needed someone to keep her calm and company…maybe I would let you accompany here. still wondering about the chainsaw and mask thing.

there are appropriate sex people in bathrooms I wouldn’t trust my daughter with, if I had one.

if people treated other people’s property with respect, bathrooms would be clean and not frightening looks into a challenged persons mind.

as for my sons ( that’s all I have, 2 boys), if they came out of the bathroom freaked out by a transgender…well, they only went in to pee or poop, I hope it all came out ok!

As I said, it was a rant.

I sweat too much to use a leather mask. :imp:

I would help any child that I could, but I won’t be in the ladies room.

Maybe it’s because of the way I was raised, but I don’t think it is since other things instilled in me as a child were easy to overcome.

“Don’t smoke…it’ll kill you!”

“Wait until you find the right girl!”

“We have to, it’s the law!”

“Don’t do that! It’s illegal!!!”

Again, it’s a personal stance. For me, I don’t believe it’s a good idea. I see a lot of baseless criminal charges coming from it and want no part of it.

Even if it’s untrue, an accusation of inappropriate sexual conduct can ruin a person’s life.

Many good ideas have led to ruin…
