My humidity won't stay at 40

A customer has a question or concerns and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

“Hi have a HAPPY NEW YEAR. ALSO HAVE A SLIGHT PROBLEM MY HUMIDITY WON’T STAY AT 40! What can I do? First feeding is in next week? And where’s the best place to put my thermometer in the grow tent?”

You can get a wicking humidifier to put outside your tent near your intake fan. I have found it’s best to get the RH up in the room the tent is in first, then if that doesn’t get you where you want, you can look at adding something in the tent directly.

As far as where to put your thermometer, I like to keep my main one at canopy level or just above the canopy. I also keep one below the canopy and one above the lights.

Here’s what you do. I built one of these and it does a good job at keeping the humidity up in my dry climate.
