Main lining Journal Start To Finish

My Pleasure. They offer a large amount of products which could be confusing if you do not know what you are looking for. Go to the “How to mix” button at the top of the page and look up the nutrient that you are interested in and it will tell you everything that is in it.

Right on…I saw that earlier when I went there this afternoon. I plain on checking out the website tonight.
I hope you don’t get offended if I say you must be old-school grower.
Iem 63 and been doing this off In on over the years.
The last three years I’ve been growing no-stop.I like the idea of getting everything I need in a one stop shop…lol

Only femanized seeds are all females. Regular or bag seeds may be male or female

Wow I’m glad I’m not the only old guy here. I’m 63 also I’m just getting back to growing for pain and stuff. I think it was about the 80’s when I stopped. Great to know I’m not alone here.

HEY ! I like this, I am the youngest among us at 60 years. Unfortunately, doesn’t mean I have stopped making “kids” mistakes, but then again, we are all learners in this growing game. We all learn from our mistakes. Even better, we can learn from other growers mistakes so hopefully we will not make the same mistakes.
Ya’ll take care and good growing to all

Update,

This is. Way to slow for me. These ladies will be vegging for another 2 months before flipping to 12/12
This is turning out to be a 6 month grow.

The reason why this grow is taking so long is because you started the mainlining process way too early. You need to wait until there are anywhere from 5-7 nodes on the plant (usually about 7 or so in depending on strain) before you take it down to the third node for mainlining. Also on your second topping you should do it on the 3rd node and on the final topping do it on the 1st (im sure there are other ways to do it, but this has worked the best for me).

Mainlining shocks the plant like no other so waiting longer will allow the plant to establish a larger root system. In all honesty you are right on the line where it might be quicker to start over, but your call. Stick with it, veg for longer than you think and this method will reward you like no other method will.

Best of luck!

5sac

Thank you for your input. Very much appreciated.
I’m going to keep it going, and give it more time to recover. I can’t agree with you more that I started to soon. This is my first attempt so I chock it up as an learning experience. But they are doing fine and growing but slow. And thats ok. I will update in a day or to and any input by you would be appreciated.

Loving this mainline journal thus far Will!

Looking good there Will

Thank you both. It sure is a learning experience. And I guess thats what we are all in here for

I am updating with new pic’s right now here they are.
Keep in mind there is three kinds here…NL, OG and SS.

And there we have it. There is no way I’m throwing these ladies out and starting over if I did as 5sac suggested then what would be the point of learning…right?

With all the pruning you do on them, they are looking good to me. The big thing someone told me about Mainlining is that you get slower growth but steady as long as you give them TLC (Tender Loving Care) which you obviously are. Keep up the good work ! I’ll Try to call you later this week! New post on my Widows coming tonight or tomorrow.

Jerry

Ok Jerry I look forward to that call
And thank you for you support
Will

How are those mainliners coming? I sent you some additional info (websites) on Mainlining via e-mail, did you get them?

I am still tossing a coin on growing Indica (Strawberry Kush) or Sativa (Super Silver Haze) in the spring. I am going to try Mainlining and use the info that you have accumulated from this grow and what we talked about on the phone.

Take care my friend.

Jerry
