Good For 10 Plants

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks.

“would like to provide lighting for plants using solar powered lights is this feasable how many, sizes would i need for 10 plants. thank you”

I don’t think it’s feasible. You are taking photons to produce electricity and then converting that into solar powered LEDs. There are losses in each conversion of energy to another type of energy, and that’s to run the LEDs in the daytime. If you were planning to use the suns energy to light your LEDs at night that has to be converted into stored energy such as a battery and then convert that into light photons which has even more losses due to converting energy from one form to another.
Personally as an electrician for the past 30 years, I wouldn’t go that route. If your house is already set up for solar then that’s a different story.
After rereading this it sounded better in my head than here in print.
I’d appreciate some other inputs as well, but to me “the juice ain’t worth the squeeze”.

3000 watt on grid solar system and 2 1000 watt gativa’s = solar grow lights for 10 plants.
