Can I bring a couple limbs in off a plant and keep it alive through the winter?

A customer has a question or concerns and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

“Can I bring a couple limbs in off a plant and keep it alive through the winter? I pulled the plant in from outside because were fixing to have a freeze. Don’t remember what seed it came from. Just dirt and a little miracle grow. Do you think it will stay alive as long as there is heat on it. Or should I just harvest!”

Do you have adequate lights? You could harvest the top third and then try to reveg the rest inside under 18/6 lights. Keep it under 18/6 until April or so and then put it outside again. Or you could try to clone some of the lower branches. Some people have success with this.

Or you could take clones. Monster cropped clones can be taken anytime during flower. There is a tutorial on the site.

Im with @bob31 cloning would be best bet
If you decide to clone take clippings from down low on plants the tend to reroot better imo
You would need lights also not just warm space to keep the plant alive and she look close to being done now
