Can I trim those leaves off?

I don’t ever trim any leaves. I only remove dead leaves that have fallen on their own.

@3high5you thanks. I took the boy down. Baked a little and rolled it. I’ve got a very mellow buz, let’s see how long it last, Probably not long .
