I think any grower who wants to stay illegal can: We ship most of the product out of state, which is still illegal. They will just need to find exporters instead of selling into the legal distribution system.
it is really hard if it’s illegal. Much better not to do it to avoid any problem. it is really a pain in the ass.
I know: A friend of mine used to smuggle from Mexico and deal kilos. Guys with guns showed up at his ranch to rip him off so many times he just quit the business altogether. Legal (and MMJ letter) is so much less stress now than the old days.
I used to worry about police. Now I worry about caterpillars and aphids!
